To Dr.Shepard's family, we are so very sorry for your loss. My husband and I were both students of his at OTC from 1999-2000, we both took as many of his classes as we could because we loved his classes. I saw a turnaround in my husband's attitude about school while in Dr.Shepards class. Before he just basically did what he could to get by, but he loved Dr.Shepard's classes so much and Dr.Shepard gave him confidence and made him feel like he had what it took to finish school. After graduation from OTC he finished his bachelors at Drury, took some time off and is now working on his MBA at Drury and I give Dr.Shepard a lot of credit for initally helping to motivitate he him, for that I will always be grateful. Dr.Shepard definitely made in impact on our lives and we will always remember him.

I never had the pleasure in knowing him as a teacher, but I did get the pleasure knowing him on the trip to Italy. He was a facinating man, and had many interesting stories to share. He also talked a lot about his son, which also shows a caring man in many ways. I was truly blessed to have the short time of knowing him, and he will be missed.

I will never forget my 7:00 a.m. talks at OTC with Dr. Shepard before the students and staff would line-up outside his door to talk. I had the wonderful opportunity to talk about his childhood, trips, family, and everyday life. I honestly think he was the most intelligent man I knew. He will be missed dearly.

Frank was a great guy with some wonderful stories. I enjoyed nother more than our time together in his office or on trips to meetings when he would tell of his experiences around the world. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.

You will be missed immensely. You will be remembered always. I am so glad I had the chance to get to know you for a little while; although it feels as though I've known you forever. Full of knowledge and laughs, full of wisdom and words, you never failed to entertain and inspire anyone who sat for a while and listened. On the trip to Italy and Greece you were you so much fun to hang around with. You have made a huge difference in my life as well as the lives of so many others. Thank you.

A mi querido amigo Frank. Victor Bucheli Quito-Ecuador
