CREMATION PACKAGES
Services to remember and celebrate the life of your loved one may be held, coordinated, and directed by our staff in our funeral home, church, or other special event place. Special event places may include a park with a BBQ for guests, family farm with bluegrass music with guest seating on hay bales, performance theater or music venue with a live band, boat house at the lake, country club, event center location/barn, or other. We do all the work so you may focus on healing.
We are able to coordinate special receptions and catering with favorite foods/meals in our reception area, on location with catering services, food trucks, other.
Types of services and programs are endless from traditional religious church services to non-religious special services that remember and commemorate your loved one as he or she lived, while also providing for those to grieve and start the healing journey.
All direct cremation, and basic cremation and memorial service package items listed PLUS:
- Visitation followed by a funeral service, then cremation
- Embalming and other preparation of the body
- Rental Casket (20-gauge metal casket or Oak - oversized)
*Any wood casket in our display room may be purchased to be used for the service, then used to cremate deceased. Total cost of casket in place of rental casket.
- Committal service may be added for additional cost (includes hearse and service at graveside – tent and chairs additional cost). No charge for a veteran to the Springfield Veterans Cemeteries.

- 1 Death Certificate
- Use of urn bier or decorative table for service
- Basic identification viewing for 2 family members for 5 minutes with family safely in viewing room.
- Additional cost to add either a visitation or memorial service to package.
- Additional cost for committal service (includes hearse and service at graveside – tent and chairs additional cost). No charge for a veteran to the Springfield Veterans Cemeteries.
- Proportional basic services of cremation staff and funeral director
- 1 Death Certificate
- Direct cremation without formal services
- Removal of the body within 15 miles (+mileage outside of this radius)
- 2 person, 5-minute identification in comfortable viewing room behind protective glass
- Refrigeration of remains up to 3 days
- 1 local newspaper death notice
- Obituary placed on funeral home website, provided by family to the funeral home
- Notification to Social Security Administration
- Minimum Alternative Cremation Container
- 1 Temporary Container to Hold Cremains
- A basic graveside service may be added for an additional charge
