Walnut Lawn Funeral Home recently assisted my dear friend, Marilyn Owens in the services for her Veteran husband, Keith Ray Owens. Laurie was very kind, considerate and patient with all that transpired from finalizing the service to inclement weather issues. She went above and beyond her professional duties to take care of things on a very personal level, including the unfortunate necessity of rescheduling Keith's funeral due to weather. She is outstanding and Walnut Funeral Home is outstanding.

Dear Ruth Ann, I know you are a professional business but I was so impressed with how everything was accomplished with such warmth and feeling. From how special you made my husband look just as he should , to the music, minister (perfect), food for the guests. The book with pictures of the plants, thank you notes, and on and on. Taking the flowers to the VA and sharing with family and friends. Then on to the grave. I particularly was impressed with your driving behind the motorcycles!!! You are a special lady. Thank you! This Funeral Home went above and beyond for our family. They were more then just a place providing a service. Their kindness, sympathy, understanding and caring will never be forgotten. The chapel was beautiful, our family member looked wonderful. The slide show and music provided during the ceremony was perfectly put together. From the first interaction with them to the final goodbye at graveside they were there for my husband's aunt and all of our family. They handled difficult relatives with grace and patience. We received excellent care and communication from Josh as he took care of every detail of my sister's funeral. He completely understood that it was all so overwhelming and difficult to process at such an emotional time. He went over and above to have everything done in time before family had to return to Africa. He was even able to put a rush on getting the monument delivered, of which, we were so very grateful. Thank you, Josh, for everything you have done for us, we deeply appreciate it.
