Many are choosing a green burial to protect our environment. At Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, we offer a Green Burial Package.

Package includes:

  • Professional services of funeral director and staff
  • Transfer of remains from place of death, within 15-mile radius - additional mileage may apply
  • Wicker casket (a wood casket may be substituted for an additional cost)
  • Direct burial at cemetery
  • 1 Death Certificate
  • Notice to Social Security
  • Publication of obituary online as provided by family
  • NO embalming, visitation, or funeral service
  • Graveside service may be added for an additional cost
  • Cemetery costs additional - (Some cemeteries may require an outer burial container - an additional charge)
